Replacing a saddle or seatpost
A saddle mounts on virtually any post with standard rails, but with a seatpost the diameter is critical (often 31.6 mm on fatbikes — check the marking on your current post). Buy a fatbike saddle and seatpost
Sitting comfortably makes the difference between a pleasant ride and a painful one. A worn saddle, a rusted-in or wrong seatpost: small parts with a big effect on your comfort. Most fatbike saddles are universal and fit any standard seatpost, while with a seatpost the diameter is what matters. In doubt about the post diameter? Ask us.
Which saddle and which post fit?
A comfort saddle with suspension or a wide base fits virtually every fatbike, so also your OUXI, QMWheel or other model. With a seatpost the diameter (in millimetres) is decisive; a post that is too thin sinks, and one that is too thick simply will not fit. Measure your old post or ask us. Want suspension damping? Choose a suspension seatpost for extra comfort on rough roads.
The right seat height
Set your saddle so your leg is slightly bent at the lowest pedal position. Sitting too low costs power and strains your knees; sitting too high makes you unstable. A mark on your seatpost helps you quickly restore the height after cleaning or transport. Lightly grease the seatpost before fitting it, to stop it rusting into the frame.
