Article 2 — Applicability
These terms and conditions apply to every offer from RideParts and to every distance contract concluded between RideParts and the consumer. Before the contract is concluded, the text of these terms has been made available electronically on this page.
Article 3 — The offer and indicative prices
All prices on the site are in euros and include 21% VAT. Because fit is critical for fatbike parts, RideParts works with a confirmation step: after your order we check fit, current price and stock and confirm these before dispatch. If anything differs from what you saw in the shop, you'll hear about it first and can cancel free of charge.
Obvious mistakes or errors in the offer (e.g. a clearly incorrect price) do not bind RideParts. Images are representative of the product type; see also the image disclaimer.
Article 4 — Payment
The payment is processed by our payment provider. You only pay after fit, price and stock have been confirmed; no payment obligation arises before that confirmation.
Article 5 — Delivery
- We ship confirmed orders as quickly as possible; our aim is to dispatch within 1 working day. Delivery within the Netherlands then usually takes 1 to 3 working days.
- Delivery time within the Netherlands is usually 1 to 3 working days.
- Shipping costs are € 4.95; for orders of € 50 or more, shipping is free.
- The maximum delivery period is 30 days. If it is exceeded, you may dissolve the contract free of charge and we will refund any amounts already paid without delay.
See also Shipping & returns for the practical details and track & trace.
Article 6 — Right of withdrawal (14-day cooling-off period)
As a consumer you have the right to dissolve the contract without giving reasons within 14 days of receiving the product (Article 6:230o of the Dutch Civil Code). During this cooling-off period you handle the product and packaging with care: you may unpack and assess the product as you would be allowed to in a shop. Any diminished value due to further use (e.g. a fitted and ridden tyre) may be deducted from the refund.
Exceptions to the right of withdrawal
- Products supplied sealed for reasons of hygiene or safety, where the seal has been broken after delivery.
- Products assembled or modified to the consumer's specification (bespoke).
To withdraw, send an email within the cooling-off period to hallo@rideparts.nl. You will then receive the return address and the instructions. The direct costs of return shipping are at your own expense. We refund the full purchase amount including original shipping costs within 14 days of your withdrawal, as soon as we have received the product back or you have demonstrated that it has been sent.
Model withdrawal form
You are not obliged to use this form — an ordinary email is sufficient — but if you wish to use the statutory model form (Annex I-B of the Consumer Rights Directive / Article 6:230o of the Dutch Civil Code), fill in the details below and send them to us.
Article 7 — Conformity and guarantee
RideParts warrants that products conform to the contract and to the reasonable requirements of soundness and usability (statutory conformity). This statutory right is separate from any manufacturer's warranty and is never limited by it. If a product is defective within a reasonable period, we will — at your choice where the law permits — provide repair, replacement or a refund. Damage caused by incorrect fitting, improper use or normal wear falls outside the guarantee.
Article 8 — Complaints and disputes
Complaints about the performance of the contract should be submitted, fully and clearly described, to hallo@rideparts.nl. We respond within 1 working day and aim for a solution within 14 days. If you can't reach a resolution with us, you can put the dispute before the competent Dutch court. For independent information and advice about your consumer rights, you can turn to ConsuWijzer (consuwijzer.nl), the consumer desk of the Netherlands Authority for Consumers and Markets. If it concerns a cross-border dispute within the EU, the European Consumer Centre (eccnederland.nl) can help you further. The European ODR platform for online dispute resolution has been unavailable since 20 July 2025.
Article 9 — Applicable law
Dutch law applies exclusively to all agreements between RideParts and the consumer. Mandatory consumer protection from your country of residence remains fully in force.
