Which charger fits your fatbike?
A battery charger must match your battery voltage exactly: a 36V battery goes with a charger with an output of about 42V, a 48V battery at about 54.6V. The plug type also varies by brand. Our complete charger guide walks you through voltage, amperage and connector step by step.

Buy a fatbike charger: 36V and the right voltage
A matching charger is crucial for your battery's lifespan. The wrong voltage or the wrong plug not only charges poorly, it can damage your battery. Most fatbikes charge at 36V, but the amperage and connector differ per brand and model. Check the specifications or ask us if in doubt.
Which charger fits my fatbike?
We stock chargers for, among others, Knaap (AMS, AMSX, RTD, 36V) and various 36V fatbikes with a common charging plug. Check your old charger or your battery to see which voltage and amperage you need (e.g. 36V 2A). Not sure about your connector? Take a photo of your charging port and charger and send it to us — we will find the right charger.
CE/UL and safe charging
Charge your battery with a certified charger (CE/UL), preferably in a room with a smoke detector. Do not charge unattended overnight and never use a damaged cable. A slightly faster charger (higher amperage) charges quicker, but stay within what your battery can handle.
